The vast majority of software reviews on the internet are written for two audiences: venture-backed engineering teams with corporate credit cards, or casual hobbyists looking for a quick free tool.
Solo operators, boutique studio owners, and independent consultants inhabit a distinctly different reality. When you are a solo practitioner:
- Every dollar spent is net profit subtracted from your personal income. A $40/month subscription that saves 30 minutes a week is worth its weight in gold; a $20/month subscription that introduces administrative friction is toxic.
